I watched it faithfully - hoping it would get better. And if finally did in it's last season - too late.

All the Star Trek tv series took a bit of time to gel. Jonathon Frakes said in an interview that The Next Generation did not really come together until the 3rd season, when everything just started working as he put it.

It is usually this way with all tv series, the best years are the last few years of the series. Star Trek Enterprise was the same way, that last season was Great.

It did take 3 seasons to get rolling. Season 4 was brilliant. My absolute favorite was the "dark universe" two part episode. I also loved the fact that we got to see a bunch of old school species like Andorrians, Gorn, Tellarites, and Orions.

I think Enterprise was robbed.

the theme song. I would always mute the theme song.

I always thought it was a wonderful theme, and deserved to live on in a series. Perhaps this is silly, but I honestly think that Enterprise would have been more kindly received with that as a theme.

The second best Vulcan in the whole franchise. Roxanne Dawson
earned her chops in writing, producing and directing there on Enterprise.

Plus what's not to like about Scott Bakula?

There was a mature, bemused and amused, quality to her interactions with the younger humans.

She never phoned it in and I shared her anger when the powers that be decided to erase Enterprise from Trek Canon. "Oh, it was just a virtual experience" my ass.

I watched some episode in which she was basically vengeful, war hungry and violent, in total contrast to the Vulcan philosophy. Since I'm not into pre-quels that don't even take the time to understand the series they are pre-queling, I got disenchanted. This was not the first thing that seemed to rewrite Star Trek history -- there was also the episode in which they came across the Ferengi, which was an "unknown" species when TNG encountered them. Just sloppy, sloppy writing overall I thought.

and she was anything but violent, even though she was both mentally and physically very strong.

Humans in space?

I liked how she had to do the same job as computers did in later Star Treks. that kind of kicks ass. Though in some episodes she seemed kind of ignored.

that concepts from shows like this Stark Trek will push technology and higher education along in terms of
what could happen in a first contact and early contact.

I bet a real live Hoshi would appreciate the down time.

I think it had a great build-up and conclusion and good character development throughout the whole series. I've seen it twice and was more impressed with it the second time through. I'll join you in that minority.

beat Voyager...though thats a pretty low bar

I doubt theres a single episode from any Startrek series that i havent seen, I thought Startrek Enterprise was great and was very disappointing when the show was cancelled. I'm having Startrek withdrawal syndrome,we need more Startrek.
Guess i'll have to settle for a movie every couple of years, the upcoming one looking great.

I thought that Enterprise did a GREAT job with that 2 parter. I thought the best thing about it was that they didn't try to have the two Archers meet - they just took an old Star Trek episode and used it to influence the alternate Enterprise universe. I thought it was awesome.

When they started focusing the series on the rise of the Federation and delving a bit more in to the backstory behind the original series is when I got interested Enterprise. I watched it off and on during the first two seasons but the third season seemed with that Xindi arc seemed like a colossal waste of time. Other than North Star and a couple other episodes I didn't really watch the 3rd season.

I think one more season and they woild have hit their stride

I loved TOS from the get-go, though my father wouldn't let us watch it when it originally aired (I did manage to sneak a couple of episodes) because he'd heard it was really "adult" oriented. No idea what that was supposed to mean, but we didn't get to watch "The Naked City" because he thought the same thing. Plus, naked.

It took me a while to really get into TNG, and my Trekkie brother never liked it. I liked what I saw of Voyager and Deep Space 9, but I had no cable/satellite TV during most of those seasons and missed a lot.

Liked Enterprise, though didn't like how they either didn't know, or didn't care about the stuff that came before. That Ferengi stuff was atrocious, and the whole Xindi thing wasn't much better. But, hey. Star Trek!

I wish SciFi channel (or somebody) would replay all the Star Trek series, so I could catch up, and enjoy the different series again.

They have all shows and seasons on instant streaming.
