I'm a subscriber to The Week with my credit card on file for automatic renewal. They charged me $249 for fifty-two weekly issues. I called them and said your website quotes $99 for fifty-two weeks. Oh that's for new subscribers. Your renewal rate is $149. Would you like us to refund $100? I said yes I would, and what was the extra hundred dollars for? Oh that's something we just do in case you aren't paying attention. Can you believe the frankness in regard to such open theft? I appreciate knowing, but not having to ask to find out.
