A Baltimore defense lawyer tried to intimidate a rape victim by telling her she could be deported by the Trump administration if she testified against his client, authorities said.
Christos Vasiliades, along with colleague Edgar Ivan Rodriguez, explained during a meeting with the victim that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would likely be in the courtroom when she testifies, according to a grand jury indictment obtained by the Daily News.
"You know how things are with Trump's laws now; someone goes to court, and boom, they get taken away," Rodriguez said, according to the indictment.
Mario Aguilar-Delosantos is accused of second-degree rape relating to an alleged attack that took place in March 2016,

Authorities say Vasiliades and Rodriguez cited recent immigration arrest statistics and told the rape victim that "there is a risk of deportation" for her and her husband if they "show up" and testify against Aguilar-Delosantos.
