It was, if memory serves me correctly, at LSU Shreveport. He began with a complaint of all the Christian God channels on cable running 24/7 and by warning all the Godsquad Christians
who might vocally object (heckle him) to his being Jewish or disrupt with evangelical exhortations of any kind that they would be, at least, verbally abused by him and definitely escorted, in a not necessarily kind way, out of the venue. Twice during his talk, a lone Christian attempted to take the floor and amid a verbal assault by the author, were quickly removed from the room with considerable assistance from husky ushers. Harlan was really a very sweet guy, just don't cross him.

As a victim of extreme bullying when he was young, Harlan Ellison didn't take $HIT from anyone.
