Cubs Trade World Series Heroes

Pretty much all gone now.
Bryant, Baez, Rizzo, all in a day.
Scwarber gone over a year.
About all that's left is Arieta & Hayward & there both "stick a fork in them" done.
But, according to the baseball experts they got quite the haul in prospects, which is how they broke over a century of disappointment in the first place.
It may be good business, but it's a sad day for Cubs fans. Even the pragmatic ones.

And now from the Nats to the Red Sox.

Also, 2016 7th game starter Kyle Hendricks is still on the Cubs, and pitching well.

hate to see it in the short term, but it's better than the long slow decline into irrelevance the Bears experienced. Like pulling off a bandaid. Let the rebuild begin...

are the cubs competition. They are on the top of the money heap. Those teams try to win and don't treat their fans like crap.

AFTER they waved the white flag & traded away champions.
Big deal.

and Trumpers. Like I said their "competition' tries to win. They never filled the holes in the lineup. They traded Darvish and they never really recovered from letting Fowler go. He doesn't give a shit about the fans. Rizzo leading off. Power hitter leading off? I prefer a Ricky Henderson or a Lou Brock.
