Somehow Carlos eked out the first set.

It’s over. Carlos has a long way to come back…….and I think the spunk is out of his game. Could be wrong, but yikes he’s down a game, and he looks spent. JMHO.

another rematch at the US open. Edge of my seat good. What shot-making by both. Alkaraz sneaking up on Djoker while he served. Choice. Djokavic wry smile a couple of times. Both had physical issues that hampered their abilities. A true battle of the titans. Fantastic. I just wish the other guy had won.

Edit to add. A two handed forehand from Alcaraz? That was epic.
