they've kind of turned their season around, so what looked like a big makeover (coach, QB) coming a few weeks ago, may not happen. Trade the pick and build on what they have? As a Bears fan, I'm expecting whatever they decide, to be the wrong choice.

Trade the pick but no lower than #3.
Take Harrison at 3, and the best left tackle in the draft with their own pick (around 10).
Then, with an extra 2nd rounder from the pick trade, and their own, a right defensive end, and a speed linebacker.
I think with that, It creates defensive nightmares (can't double both WRs, especially with how good Moore is out if the slot), especially given Fields' speed in the run game (plus, he's learned how to slide).
No matter how much promise, too many QB coming out of colleges are still a roll of the dice.

let's hope a reasonable facsimile of this occurs. Still not sold on the coach though...

The team could have packed it in after game 6, but they didn't. I'm OK with Eberflus, but either they need to replace Getsy, or they need him to commit to be less committed to his precious system, and more committed to the skills of the players they have. For the whole season.

I don't mind trading up, but who knows what BB will do. If he's still doing things for the Pats by the time we get to the draft...

Harrison would be a big boost to the offense and our O line and linebacker corps need upgrading. Can't see drafting yet another untested QB, and another 2 or 3 years breaking him in. Fields is improving weekly.

That way when a huge fan base moves up a lot there is no suspicion.

BTW Tankathon has you guys drafting Caleb Williams anyway.

Not sure that QB is the problem.
Folks here on sportsradio are split. The chance to get important pieces an operating from a position of strength may change the calculus.
This is potentially an 8 win team, that just got Moore this year, and Sweat just 6 games ago.
And, they're young.
Not sure starting from scratch is wise. Selecting a new QB, with the current offensive roster is starting over.
Upgrading depth at receiver and improving OT play seems to have greater impact than changing quarterback; again.
