Jim Nance is calling the PGA Farmers Insurance Open remotely ...

from Baltimore, not Torrey Pines in Southern California, obviously so he can call the AFC Conference Game tomorrow.

I understand the reasoning behind remote broadcasts under pandemic quarantines, but it's not 2021.

CBS should have given the job to someone else on the rise up in his/her career. Nance (and us) certainly don't need the extra exposure.

1. CBS should have dropped the PGA tour as soon as Prince "Bone Saw" got involved.

The PGA Tour and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (which is chaired by Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman) are now in bed together. But, who really cares that the Saudi's premier crime family is in control as long as CBS makes a ton of money broadcasting the PGA Tour.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would not want to be a business associate of a murderer.

But then, I'm wacky like that

2. Nance probably wouldn't give it up. Some of these guys are prima-donnas and don't want to share.

Can't remember if it was Nance, but one of these guys demanded his mug be on the TV camera every 15 minutes or so, whether it was needed or not.

hopped on a motorized cable car and rode a few miles north to call a Giants playoff game at AT&T Park.

Fox broadcast part of the journey from an aerial blimp.

It was kind of ... disgusting.

working with his partner, Duane Kuiper, who is at away games.

Krukow no longer travels with the team due to inclusion body myositis (IBM) that requires him to use a walking stick. He told Newhouse that he no longer flies nor drives, and he now takes a scooter to get three blocks from his house to Oracle Park for home games.

For road games, he calls games from the NBC Sports Bay Area studio in San Francisco.

His 'color announcing' at Peacock has been extraordinary. He play the doofus dude a lot of the time, but his head is totally in the game.
