Xander Schauffle is notorious for the grip/regrip thing. He stands over the ball 6 or 7 seconds before he pulls the trigger.
Thankfully, 2 of the biggest stars, at the top of the leaderboard all the time (hence on camera a lit) are pretty fast players. McIlroy & Scheffler. Same with Morikawa.
But there are some that are so deliberate that I find myself watching & screaming in my head "Hit the ball already!"

Lots of baseball players have routines before they pitch or bat, lots of basketball players have a routine before they shoot a free throw.
