One of England's best former cricketers died last week

I was surprised since I hadn’t heard he was ill and he was only 55.
I have watched him play against our team many many times.

To discover today that he died by suicide has shocked me big time. Depression is serious. Hugs for his widow and two daughters.

I have a good tennis friend here on DU and we discuss depression in tennis particularly since Naomi raised the subject. This one clean bowled me.
