Sports Aficionados: I'm sorry, but I just saw a clip on ESPN of a professional Pickle Ball play.

I can't help it, who needs professional leagues of Pickle Ball? It looks like adults playing on miniature tennis courts...sorta like if you put grown adults playing on a Little League baseball field.

Ok, good for exercise, as is paddle ball, badminton, hand ball and all such similar sports, but professional leagues (where you just know former pro tennis players will win everything, now that they've aged out of actual tennis.

Adults on a mini-tennis court? Just my opinion, who needs it. I prefer real tennis on a regulation-sized tennis court.

Thanks for letting me rant.

I saw that while in the lobby at a hotel on ESPN, with a play-by-play guy and a color commentator. More evidence of how stupid we have become.

If you don't know who he is, go to YouTube and search 'Olive and Mabel.'

You can't do something just for enjoyment anymore. SOMEBODY will think "How can I make a buck from this?" Unfortunately, it bleeds into things other than sports, too. "We can do (this thing) to help the homeless, and make some money for ourselves, too". "Ya' know, you can sell your (hobby) on (website) and make some cash."

Is it ever gonna stop?
