It ended with the realization that an eight team playoff is the right number.

(187,525 posts)I guess well find out next weekend.
Every home team win easily. I get that there should be an advantage to a higher seeding but
.
Ped State looked great but then SMU was just overwhelmed. Indiana looked like they had no business there but honestly who has ND beat this year? I get that they get a special deal because they are an independent
.no its because they bring in BIG ratings.
Indiana and Tennessee looked like two teams who just reached the upper level but Clemson showed what an established program is. They had easily the best performance of all the losing teams.

Tell the entire Sandusky story in a thread before you take cheap shots.
The Republican governor Corbett knew all about Sandusky and covered it up.

(25,450 posts)for having predators in their locker rooms. Sandusky was turned in to the higher ups, including the governor, who covered up for him. Then the higher ups did a bogus investigation by Mr. Freeh who conveniently laid the blame on a dead guy.
Ohio has a Magat member of Congress who keeps getting elected to office who covered up for a pervert.
I can name a lot more high profile schools who covered up for rapists, one is playing in the NFL right now.

(29,367 posts)They could have blown out more opponents but they took it easy in the second half but Dillingham created the mantra "finish the game" and they did against Iowa State and others. Plus they have one of the best running backs in the country that breaks so many tackles.
Boise State probably has the best running back in the nation (ASU has the 2nd best) but their defense isn't as great as the late 2000s Boise State teams but they have a chance.
Arizona State may lose to Texas because Texas is the highest ranked team to not win a conference championship but I can't wait til January 1st.
Hopefully Boise State and Arizona State wins so they don't change things too drastically I mean why even play the games.

(29,367 posts)Skattebo proved he is one of the best players in the country, he threw a touchdown and ran for a touchdown as well as a 2-point conversion to erase a 16 point 4th quarter deficit. ASU also got an interception on defense to help erase the deficit.

(187,525 posts)Putting off the Ohio State game to watch this. I saw the score was 24-8 20 minutes ago. I let my wife have the TV most of today. She hadnt been feeling well.
ASU is for real. I get that. I thought Texas and Oregon were the teams to beat with UGA starting a backup QB.

(29,367 posts)I would like to have that 4th & 15 back where they called a blitz instead of dropping everyone back in pass coverage when they were up by 7.
It was the most fun I had watch watching the Sun Devils since the 1996 season where they were undefeated and had a lead late in the Rose Bowl against Ohio State but they blew it on defense like they did in this year's Peach Bowl.
Good luck to your team if it is Ohio State -- not sure who you root for.
