Related: About this forumThere's a "Configurator" available for the new, Mid-Engined C-8 Vette. I had a little fun with it;
(Edited the thread title just because)
I'm fond of the blue with the red calipers.

Here's my current C-7;
This is the LT1 trim level Stingray - the base model. Lot's of fun, though! Just got back from a trip out west with it. Drove it to the Grand Canyon, through Monument Valley and over Wolfs Creek pass.

Nice ride.
A HERETIC I AM
(24,675 posts)We (My brother and I) drove up out of the GC Nat'l Park and took 163 through Mexican Hat to Bluff, where we turned onto 162 and headed back your way.
We were going to stay in Durango that night ( last Sunday night) but the hotels were $100 cheaper in Farmington! So we went down there. No biggie. Saw Shiprock in the distance. Very cool.
Took 170 back up into Colorado the next morning and then 160 over Wolfs Creek Pass and over to La Vieta Pass, then 12 over that pass and into Trinidad.
I've got a few pics and vids, but I haven't uploaded them to Postimage or Vimeo yet (I refuse to use YouTube or Photobucket anymore!) but when I get them up, perhaps I'll put up a thread of them.
Anyway...you live in a really gorgeous part of this country.
I envy you.

(24,675 posts)I put up a thread a year ago when I picked it up, but I got so pissed at Photobucket, all the shots are gone!!
I still have them so I just need to upload them to Postimage and edit the thread.
The C-7 began production in 2013 as 2014 model year units.
I had a 2006 C-6 that I traded in for this current one and back in the late 90's I bought a C-4.
The 2006;
The 1992 C4;
So this 2016 C-7 is my 3rd.

(531 posts)The blue paint, tan leather interior, and silver wheels work so well together.
I'd order mine without the giant wing at the back, but that's just me.
Then I'd head up to South Park at the crack of dawn, and have myself a time...
