PINE HALL, N.C. (AP) A North Carolina racetrack has lost some partnerships after its owner advertised Bubba Rope for sale online days after NASCAR said a noose had been found in the garage stall of Bubba Wallace, the top series only Black driver.
A concrete company and a driver series ended their partnerships Friday with the half-mile, dirt track 311 Speedway in Stokes County, the Winston-Salem Journal reported.
The racetrack owners Bubba Rope post on Facebook Marketplace earlier this week sparked a backlash on social media and a condemnation from a spokesman for Gov. Roy Cooper.
Buy your Bubba Rope today for only $9.99 each, they come with a lifetime warranty and work great, the post said.
The Carolina Sprint Tour posted on its Facebook page that it would not race at the speedway for the remainder of its season, according to the newspaper.

(25,483 posts)As stupid as this is, I say "bring it on" because it means we can avoid the step where we have to try to identify them. This way they are just jumping up and down and waving, like a criminal bringing the evidence of his crime to the sheriff. Saves us a step in the process. I'm thinking years of exposure to petroleum fumes doesn't help either, especially when you don't have much sense to start with.

TEXT: TWITTER DO YOUR MF THING!!! His name is Mike Fulp and he owns 311 Speedway and Hillside Dan River Tubing.
And she's posted the owner Mike Fulp's various racists posts here, information about his businesses. One of the most offensive things is a tweet showing George Floyd that has the caption: "Congratulations, George... 2 weeks drug free."
And as of today, their website is gone. I haven't checked to see if Mike Fulp has deleted his twitter account. 311 Speedway also has a Twitter account: it's not "gone" but suddenly there are no tweets from that account visible.
