1958 Chevy Biscayne. Paid $25 for it, drove the hell out of it. I was 16 and Dad said I couldn't buy a car until I tuned 18. I had to buy it anyway. Told dad I wasn't going to drive it, just fix it up and sell it. He said I should just go ahead and get some plates for it and I did.
Her name was Rosie the Bondo Bomb.

I had an old Chrysler New Yorker with push buttons for the tranny. Meant to push 1 once while in Drive at about 50 mph - hit R instead!
Face almost ended up on the steering wheel, tranny screamed and stalled the engine.
Pulled off the highway - started fine - drove fine.
Oldies were TOUGH!

think the color was called coral, kinda a peachy color with white hood, top, & trunk.
And under the hood was an "E" code 312, factory duel 4's with a Fordamatic..
