A crashed half-million-dollar Porsche possibly owned by golf star Patrick Reed has sparked a huge mystery.
Joe Pompliano of TheDrive.com, tweeted photos of the car and provided the back story.
After winning the 2018 Masters, Reed seemingly purchased a $450,000 Porsche 911 GT2 RS. (There is such a thing as entry-level or low-end Porsches. This is not one of them.)
Only 1,000 of those Porsche models were manufactured in the U.S. If that didnt make it unique enough, Reed had his painted in a custom Masters paint scheme, with yellow brake calipers.
That car recently turned up on an auto salvage website, totally wrecked.

(10,486 posts)On a Porsche 911 S, Targa, Turbo, GTS, GT3 etc. Yellow, red, and blue calipers show up across the entire line. As does Forest Green; since the 60s.
And people put cars like that on a track all the time, and likewise wreck them.
Patrick Reed is a tool, but this is silly speculation.
Same year with the GTS emblem delete.

Fortunatley he didn't hurt anyone that we know of.
There was a similar crash with a football player a few years ago involving a superbike in a parkign lot.
Here in Germany you get licences that increase with testing and training.

It takes talent, that you may not have, to handle a lot of horsepower, regardless.
