the fights in the stands or the mean adults who snatch away foul balls from kids. Lots of those too, unfortunately.
Anyway, the baseball season is a formality. The Dodgers have likely purchased a World Series. Hoping not, but bracing for it.

I used to pooh-pooh the notion of doing the spring training bit, but, boy howdy, it's very attractive at this point.

(3,569 posts)8. The husband and I went to Spring Training in AZ several years ago. Thank God we did, because now
he's disabled, on oxygen and can't travel. We flew into Vegas, spent 2 days having fun, then rented a car and drove to Phoenix. Damn best time we ever had! You're so close to the players and the action.
Make the trip if you can; you won't regret it.
