(1,566 posts)came off the DL. He has been almost unhittable his last three or four starts. The Giants starting pitching lineup is excellent but it seems unlikely they can make it into the Wild card.

(13,773 posts)Sometimes I get the feeling that the pitchers have to throw a shutout for the (maybe) one run to win.
It's just puzzling, with so many decent hitters on the team.
It is just so depressing to hear another "STRIKE THREE CALL", or
"He swung and missed at that high fastball"
Pat the Bat is hitting coach, and he ought to be getting more from the hitters. They are at or near the bottom of the barrel with runners in scoring position. Home run crazy, it seems.
Hoping they get their offensive act together.
