(57,471 posts)The Yanks did have the NY logo on their caps though? Seems I remember photos/film clips of him and Gehrig in the NY caps.
BTW, what's your favorite jersey?
I'm a Yankee fan but I think the Cardinal's red bird jersey is tops.

(10,115 posts)The logo went on the jersey in 1935, and his last year as a Yankee was 1934. Of the jerseys on your list, I chose the Dodgers. I always liked the white jersey with the royal blue script. The red numerals on the front of the home jerseys were added to make the unis special for the 1951 World Series. Oops! The Giants ruined that, so they were carried over to the next year.
My all time favorite is the 1932-35 White Sox home jersey. It had red block SOX letters running diagonally down the left side. The hole in the O was filled with a baseball, and a yellow bat ran underneath the letters.
