MLB teams will have advertising on their helmets during the postseason

MLB said Friday that it reached a deal for the postseason ads through 2027 with Strauss, a German apparel company that entered the U.S. market last year.

Ads of 5-by-0.92 inches will be on each side of every helmet featuring "STRAUSS" in capital letters in white alongside the company's ostrich logo silhouetted by a red square, with an alternate color for red helmets.

Strauss also will appear on the helmets of the 120 affiliated minor league teams from 2025 to 2027.

Financial terms were not announced.

I can not remember how that stand-up pledge was worded, but it expressed allegiance to the corporate world.

The put the sponsor name big and in the front of jersey.

Sponsorship and apparel sales are a majority of at least EPL revenue. Some likeness money but season tickets are pretty cheap. Less than $1,000 a year (19 home games) for front row seats at Liverpool. Discounts for kids, disabilities, and vets too.

I won't even buy clothes with a corporate name on it (or logo). No Northface, or Columbia, or Nike for me.
My driver & fairway wood covers are plain black Stealth covers. (Their name brand stucker is about the size of a quarter, and is black) The driver & 5 wood covers (Taylormade) & my 3 wood (old Nike) are in the trunk of my car.
Want me to advertise for you, give me the equipment.
Even my slip-on golf shoes are Addidas that DON'T have the 3 stripes.
That's how influenced I am by logos. If it has a logo, I won't buy it!
