Related: About this forumMake your ALCS and NLCS picks. Who's going to the World Series?
It kicks off today with Kodai Senga starting for the Mets versus Jack Flaherty and the Dodgers. Game 2 is tomorrow along with the first game of the Cleveland versus New York Yankees series.
So which two teams do you envision getting to the World Series?
Will we see a battle of New York? Yankees vs. Mets?
Dodgers vs. Yankees?
Or will the small-market Guardians beat the odds and face the Dodgers or the Mets?

(670 posts)The Dodgers will beat the Yankees in the World Serious.
Im not a fan of either team but as a baseball addict Ill watch.
However, if the Dodgers lose the NLCS or the WS, Dave Roberts will be fired.

(19,899 posts)that MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred would be over the moon with a Yankees/Dodgers World Series. Probably the highest viewership ratings that baseball would see for a long time. But, personally, I hate when the teams with the monster payrolls buy their way to the top.
Go Cleveland!

My prediction: Yankees/Mets
Yankees have more hitting than Cleveland. Guardians just do not match up.
Mets will win the World Series.

(205 posts)If there is any controversial call at all, you can bet it will be against either Cleveland or the Mets. No way would Manfred allow the Yankees or Dodgers a disadvantage in this one, as he has to see the potential revenue of NY vs LA.
I wouldn't be watching, though, as I don't want to hear the hype.

(2,482 posts)Likely gonna be Dodgers v Yankmees.
If that is the case, sign me up for Dodger blue.

(69,462 posts)The Yankees got to the LCS with Judge not hitting. That won't last forever. He's too good a hitter.
The Dodgers got there with a hot bullpen. If they stay hot, they're won't get beaten in a series.
Even if I get this right, it's too soon to call a WS winner.
