Not that I'm whining (okay, I am), but gee, does Cleveland really have a chance?
That's over a four times advantage in payroll.
I know -- it's been done before. Yankees may be vulnerable. Yada, yada.
So, what I've posted earlier this year stays the same:
The division win sated my need for a championship. It was one heck of an exciting season to follow. Totally unexpected. The ALDS win was icing on the cake. My World Series.

Play the Yankees hard. Make them sweat.

(19,899 posts)which puts him at #11 in MLB while Stephen Vogt is tied for 5th at $4 million.
So the pressure is definitely on Vogt to earn his money and outperform Boone with a roster earning 75% less.

(39,967 posts)Lots of flab in that number (there always is). Stanton, Rizzo and LeMahieu combined made $57 million this year and the latter two didnt even play in the ALDS.

(929 posts)They won the same number of games this year, more or less - should be a good series if both play to their obvious ability.
