(5 posts)Been a Red Sox fan since 1958, followed them as a kid in the Boston Record American, and lived through 1967, 1975, 1986, and the rest of the dramas that put Red Sox caps on many gravestones in New England. Its only sports, entertainment, distraction, yes, but I sat on my couch after the last out in the 2004 World Series, and wept. Retrospectives like The Comeback are must watch stuff: just another round of proverbial bubbly for RSN.

(16,953 posts)Cubs fan first....Red Sox second. Dad grew up in Stoughton, outside of Boston. I grew up outside Chicago, but loved Boston as well. 2004 was just goddamn thrilling.....thx for the heads up on this...
