I'm going to try to watch the Marlins game tonight

But the pregame words and remembrances have got me boohooing already.

Jose was a bright light and a kid who just enjoyed the hell out of the game and appreciated where he was and what he was able to do.

Every player is wearing a 16 Fernandez jersey tonight and the owner has said that his number will be retired after this.

I heard the song begin and of course instantly thought "Taps", but when I recognized "Take me out to the Ballgame" it made me weep.

There was a pre-game tribute, the Nats put number 16 on the mound instead of the curly W. It was solemn and emotional. And your guys won.

The Nats were his last win, and a brilliant one it was.

I wish we would have had him last night against the Dodgers.
