Joe Dimaggio. 361 Hr's 369 so's.

The closest he came to Gehrig was in 1941 when he had 37 HRs and 27 SOs. A disparity of 10 versus 18 for Gehrig.
521 hr's over 800 strikeouts over his career.

Joe Sewell for the 1932 Yankees. He struck out 3 times (yes, 3) in 576 plate appearances.
For his entire career he only struck out once every 73 plate appearances and once went 115 games without striking out.
He had over 8300 plate appearances, but only struck out 114 times.
Was a .312 hitter for his 14 year career, but not a bopper. He only had 49 HRs.
