Only NL player to win the MVP in his first year in that League

Dodgers

1988.

Came to the Dodgers after a distinguished career with the Tigers.

I'm pretty sure I have this one right. I couldn't think of another example in the NL.

trotting (or rather limping) around the bases with the arm pump in the '88 WS. He was pretty banged up, as I recall.

Those two won the Rookie of the Year as well.

Frank Robinson as well in the AL as the Reds traded him away. Any others?
