The San Diego Padres have completed a grand slam of grand slams.

There's something about Tatis and grand slam records, but there's one record Jr. will not break

They'd be sitting in first place if the juggernaut Dodgers would just start dropping games.

The Padres really, really want the Giants to snag a wild card ticket because the Giants seem to be the only team that can consistently beat the Dodgers.
I haven't crunched the numbers today, but a week ago, 44.66% of the Dodgers losses were to the SF Giants.

mentioned in the same sentence. Well except for ineptitude.
You should get some points for getting the Cleveland Spiders a mention.

Former St. Louis Cardinal Fernando Tatis Sr. is the only Major League player to hit two grand slams in the same inning. He accomplished the feat against the host Los Angeles Dodgers on April 23, 1999 and both came off pitcher Chan Ho Park.
