From MLB.com: "The whole purpose of this kind of list is to get people talking, arguing, pushing and shoving. OK, not that last part. But every year this list has come out -- just 50 in seasons past -- the debates and comments have been passionate, to say the least."

(9,709 posts)every time I think I've gotten over that trade, something pops up to remind me of it. Sometimes, Sabean really pisses me off.
You don't trade top prospects for rent a players. It should be a Giants organizational rule..

(31,802 posts)If Sabean does nothing he concedes the season. It's not an ideal message to the players who are signed and want to make the playoffs today.
I'm sure it was a very difficult decision for the entire Giants organization and one not made by Sabean alone. Of course, if Lincecum or Cain bolts in a few years then we'll really regret what happened.
About two months to Opening Day, Upton. I can't wait.

(787 posts)...He had a great slugging percentage (over 550) and OPS (well over 900). His going to the Mariners probably is responsible for the slide in his ranking. Unlike Safeco, Yankee Stadium has a real short right porch.
