Giants finish off sweep of Mets, 6-4

Tim Lincecum has seen it all during his time with the Giants, from the Barry Bonds farewell to the 2010 championship to the 2011 derailment to another title in 2012 to another roadblock in 2013.

What he's seeing now is something altogether different.

"I can't really think of a time we were as good as we are now," Lincecum said after Sunday's 6-4 victory over the Mets, referring to this early in a season.

Of course he can't. It hasn't been like this in his lifetime. Not since 1962, 22 years before his birth. That was the previous time a Giants team had a 63-game record of 42-21, which is where the Giants stand after sweeping the Mets and winning five in a row, all in comeback fashion.
