Mets co-ace Max Scherzer has a moderate to high grade internal oblique strain in his left side and will miss 6-8 weeks, the club announced on Thursday.
Scherzer underwent an MRI on Thursday morning, a day after exiting his start against the Cardinals in the sixth inning.

(1,031 posts)Every year one of thier star pitchers goes down with a weird injury. As a Nats fan I am grateful for the World Series Title that he helped bring to Washington but I though he made a big mistake in joining the Mets.
