People work, you know. Regular season game? Sure. This is the season opener. Should start at 1:10 local, 4:10 est, SO KIDS CAN WATCH TOO.

It used to open the first Tuesday or Wednesday of April, IIRC. I know it is only one week's difference but at this time of year when the seasons are changing, that is significant. It's too damn cold for baseball.

No “normal” start time for Cleveland fans till April 7, the home opener.

And guess who we play in the home opener … Seattle!

Next week is looking clear on the West Coast (finally)!

Cleveland got screwed in the season schedule too. There aren't many weekend home series against marquee teams. Except for the Astros in June and Atlanta on July 4th, all their weekend series are against smaller market teams.

in popularity behind the NFL and NBA...maybe even on a level with the NHL. Any changes and improvements move at glacial speed.

Let's see what happens with the speeded up pitch count, the bigger bases and the elimination of the infield shift to speed up the games also glacial pace.

Playing the Brewers, who are from a city 90 miles away, who have a domed stadium.
