Baseball
Related: About this forumBaseball should realign their divisions and get rid of the NL/AL past.
Now that the DH rule has been settled, it's time to realign the divisions based on geographical rivalries instead of the old NL/AL split.
Here's how I would do it.
Northeast
Toronto Blue Jays
Boston Red Sox
New York Yankees
New York Mets
Philadelphia Phillies
Southeast
Baltimore Orioles
Washington Nationals
Atlanta Braves
Tamp Rays
Miami Marlins
Central
Minnesota Twins
Detroit Tigers
Pittsburgh Pirates
Cleveland Guardians
Cincinatti Reds
Midwest
Chicago WhiteSox
Chicago Cubs
Milwaukee Brewers
KC Royals
St Louis Cardinals
Mountain
Colorado Rockies
AZ Diamondbacks
Houston Astros
Texas Rangers
Oakland As
West
Seattle Mariners
San Francisco Giants
LA Dodgers
Anaheim Angels
San Diego Padres

Baseball needs to increase regional rivalries, not limit them. I dont like full inter-league play either. Dodgers only come to S.F twice all year. One of the greatest rivalries in baseball, and MLB totally fucked it up.
I too hate the dh.

Not that that would change the groups.

(28,468 posts)The division you have them in is all way east of here & makes no geographic sense and would not make it easy for the fans to travel. Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Cincinatti are all east of Chicago (And, of course, the White Sox have been their biggest rivalry). It would make more sense to toss St. Louis into the Central.
