Pair of goldfinches found the little feeder under my flower pot

I think the landlord has been frowning on birdfeeders lately, but I snuck this little one in with some thistle seed. Hope I don’t get busted but, it doesn’t really feel like spring to me, if I don’t see the male goldfinch getting his summer suit

I have seen some examples of blue hen chickens that were raised pretty much as novelties, they aren’t commercially profitable. University of Delaware football team is called the Fightin Blue Hens, funny name. Just Hens in the sports headlines
