(136,780 posts)the box is un-used, tho osprey tried a few times. It's at a particulary windy/breey spot, between river and creek, @ northern end of my little peninsula!

(34,401 posts)they might be there early. They are just sitting in the trees. It has mostly been far too windy. I was not joking that one went flying by my window backwards. I will never forget that sight. Usually if it is not good here they stay only a little while then leave. We are going to hit 90 this weekend. I don't know but 90 degrees and wind so hard you fly backwards would make me leave....i n fact...nope I gotta stay.

(34,401 posts)caught coming around the house then *BLAM* that wind caught it as it rounded the corner. It blew passed so fast that I have no idea how long it took to right itself. It probably got hit by one of those almost 50mph gusts.
