From a little disc of genetic material sitting on top of egg yolk mass inside an ocean of egg white, it develops slowly into this majestic creature.
Either magic or a miracle, and I don't believe in miracles.

I hardly ever see mallard ducks anymore, and I miss them. Such cute ducklings!
