I always think of you, elleng, when Iris returns to her nest at the mouth of Hellgate Canyon. She arrived on April 5th. Yesterday she had a friend on the nest with her. We're all watching and hoping she has a successful clutch this season. Today it is snowing and blowing...but she's chirping away and seems in good shape...at 25 years old!

Sadly, haven't seen or heard from 'mine' this year, but goslings will likely walk around my yard soon, as goose off nest.

Snowing!!! 76 here now! a bit breezy.

But Iris has a good time. Her beau, Louis, left her for Starla and they now reside at Paddlehead Stadium (formerly Osprey Stadium). Louis was a cad. She's better off without him.
