Thanks for posting these. I still havent seen one of these live, but when I do, it probably wont get as close as these photos take me.
Beautiful bird! I had never seen one of these. Are they plentiful in NY?

(32,366 posts)5. It looks like a lot of birds now because it's peak migration, and Central Park is an important stopover
for migrating birds. I think by middle of June most will be at their breeding destinations.
