I am sad to say that my Vulture tree is getting so broken after the lightning strikes over the last few years that I do not see many anymore. It actually makes me tear up, it was so much fun watching them. Now instead of 15 or so covering and mantling in it it is one or two every now and again. The Herons are using it but I miss my scruffy vultures. Enjoy them.

Can you tell what's happening in the third pic?

ETA. The bird on the right is a Black Vulture. I can't remember which is which, but one has a better nose and the other a stronger beak. Where their ranges overlap, Turkey and Black Vultures will work together as one finds the food and the other gets into it.

Was in car (stopped, little-trafficked road to my 'driveway') and as s/he was on passenger side, I didn't 'study.'
