merlin bird app update

i downloaded merlin on my phone . rah. it wants a valid email address. if that is all that it wants , thats coo. i am going to have fun.

The immediate feedback of hearing the birdsong and seeing the app light up is a great way to learn bird song or calls.

It's just a tool though - just because it tells you it hears an Elegant Trogon doesn't mean the bird's there (this actually happened to me in Western PA last year).
