movie 'The Birds'. Truly a classic horror movie of those times. I watched it several times, it was captivating.

Hope you two are doing good (you and your other 1/2)...

2. Fortuately these birds spread out around neighbor/landlord's 6+ acres, so no horror like Hitchcock's!

Did try to zoom enough to get better pics; LOTS of them to-and fro-ing among trees.

Things fine here; daughter hoped to visit with grands today, but they haven't made it (yet,) She's preparing for first day teaching (nursery school,) so busy and excited.

Hoped kids would pick some rapidly ripening figs; maybe later.

6. The grackles do that hopping where I live. I must guard the bird feeders if they are coming back.

They are bullies.

We get black birds by the thousands but some have a slight orange marking on the wings near the shoulder.

in what neighbors refersto as their 'orchard;' pear and apple trees, near row of ficus. Adjacent to path to my house, beside river.
