(141,926 posts)Haven't been out much, and hadn't seen an eagle in a long time! (MAY have caught one a few days ago, overlooking fields and creek, a bit south of here.)

(35,176 posts)I had not seen even one on my pond since the early fall. Just yesterday there was one cruising my pond and farm. It was not here for long but it always boosts my moods and makes me so happy to see them.
Good for you, you got some good shots there.

(43,248 posts)Minnesota and staying at this resort https://www.suregameresort.com/ . The first week I went for a hike down an old logging road into the wilderness. Approximately mile from the resort I found an eagle 🦅 nest with two baby nestlings looking down from the nest. I couldn't believe how big they were. I took almost everyone that was staying at the resort on several hikes to see it. The resort owner couldn't thank me enough. He sent me a Christmas card later that year and wrote in it how many guests have commented about the wilderness guide that showed them an eagle nest with babies.
Don't think I've seen baby EAGLES, 'just' osprey @ 'my' nest.
