Related: About this forumI have to say, the ESPN Monday Night Countdown crew doesn't measure up to previous years
I really like the entertaining crew they had last year and a few years before that.
I find this new crew very boring and they've failed to capture my interest enough to watch any part of it.

Who's on the crew you find uninteresting?

(5,021 posts)I'll have it on in the event there are any last-minute developments, but pre-game shows in general have become overstuffed clown cars of half-illiterate former players trying to out-shout each other and prove definitively who's the biggest ass-clown. I long for the days when Bryant Gumble and Brent Musberger needed only 30 minutes and one or two other people on-set to tell you all of the gameday news, all without having to shout any of it. Hell, Cosell and company went on minutes before kickoff and you still felt informed throughout the broadcat.
I guess, if you put me on the spot, I probably find the ESPN College Gameday crew the most watchable of the lot, but that's a low bar to have cleared.
Thanks, this was cathartic

They were entertaining to have on while I was doing other things, but this new crew is boring as hell.
I guess when ESPN cut their budget, they could pay the guys who knew what they were talking about.
