(19,720 posts)He graduated from high school not far from me and Prime Time was a name his teammates gave him because he played football, baseball and basketball and was good in all of them. Lets just see how he leads when hes really down and then judge his character.

(5,021 posts)he called it "a good, old-fashioned butt-kicking" and said "there are no excuses." He congratulated Oregon on their preparation, and said he and the other coaches are accountable too, starting with him. All in all, what you want to hear a coach say after his team has just been dismantled.
As was pointed out, they were 1-11 last year, so if he can manage to get them bowl-eligible this season, that will be a decent accomplishment.

(19,720 posts)Imo, this is another example of how the media hypes up to make news instead of reporting the news. Maybe they did need to get knocked down to reality but I hope they shun the media and just let the kids play their games.
