Cry, Eagles, Cry

Imagine how depressed they must be after dropping a game to the Seahawks with a backup QB playing his second game this year. Fear and loathing in Philly, but joy and jubilation in San Francisco, with a one-game cushion for the number one seed in the playoffs, even if Baltimore should happen to win a week from tonight.

The road to the Super Bowl definitely goes thru SF this year. Brock Purdy is playing head and shoulders above Hurts and Prescott.
We'll see how he compares with Lamar Jackson next Monday night, but I like our chances.

the Eagles defensive plays instead of their Defensive Coordinator Sean Desai, BUT that the DC was still the DC and not fired or demoted at all, still an important big defensive man...

Matt fucking Patricia.

How did that work out, Sirianni? Good?

The Lions have three tough games coming up (whoever drew up the schedule is insane), and I just wanted us to have a guaranteed playoff spot.

Plus I DETEST the Seahawks. They have got to be one of the luckiest teams in the planet.

I know that on paper this COULD be good for the Lions, but I just wanted that guarantee. Worse, I live in Seattle and now have to deal with their insufferable fans for at least another week.

As a life-long Niner fan, Seattle has spoiled our party more than a few times. Even worse, my son, who I raised to love the Niners, lived in Seattle during the Colin Kaepernick epic playoffs with the Sea Chickens. He hated the fans up there as much as you seem to.

Still, they did us a favor last night. I didn't cheer for Seattle, I rooted against Philly. Glad to see the Lions finally having a good year. They'll be fine, until they play in SG, if they make it that far. Good luck.

But get totally dominated and exposed. Hint - Purdy ain’t the answer. The Ravens are by far the best team in the NFL.
