Chiefs hold on for 19-17 win over the Raiders

A rare Friday afternoon game.

KC moves to 11-1, the same as the Lions. Top two contenders in the NFL, record-wise.

Which do you think is the superior team?

could be chalked up to luck. But I don't know that their good fortune won't last until the end of the season. They are gradually getting some injured players back too.

The Chiefs looked like they were in trouble at the end, but they pulled it off, and a win is a win.

I don’t think Mahomes looked happy.

They must have a certain sort of mojo to do this, though I don't think it'll stand up against Detroit's steamroller. We shall see....

occasionally. But when I compare his air attack with some of these new guys. He seems to have really lost something.

is a decent receiving corps.

KC just traded for an aging DeAndre Hopkins about a month ago. He's been their top guy since then. Rookie Xavier Worthy is blazing fast but not consistent yet. Juju Smith-Schuster has been battling injuries.

Rashee Rice has missed much of the season and Hollywood Brown has missed every game this year due to injury.

Travis Kelce's age is really starting to show at 35.

Mahomes has had few reliable targets most of this year.
