Hats off to the 49ers for pulling off the W with so many starters injured.

Serious question: Should Mac Jones take over from Brock Purdy as the starting QB permanently?

Can’t judge Purdy on Jaguars game. He was playing hurt and rusty. But Jones sure did look good tonight.

And they aren’t paying Purdy a fortune to hold a clipboard.

Despite the big contract, I'd keep Purdy on a short leash this season. Perform or ride the pine and watch Jones carry the load.
