Chargers and Patriots

Idiots! Why do these teams insist on going for it on 4th down instead of taking the easy field goal? Especially since the opportunity was the result of a turnover?

Are they all just flaming egocentric fools? So sure of their own abilities and unaware of the skills of others?

I really don't understand this fad of not taking the sure fire field goal, especially early in the game.

The Patriots have 2 players playing who have been charged with assault, separate assaults, different cases.

Calculated Risks From the Coach Who Never Punts
Posted January 2, 2016 by Ben Carlson

My brother has been hounding me for while now to look into the high school football coach who never punts. I finally did a deep dive by reading a few articles and watching some videos on Kevin Kelley, the head football coach at Pulaski Academy.

but not kicking a field goal on 4th down when you are within a few yards of the goal line. Instead, these teams go for it on 4th down, don't make it, and give up the opportunity to come away with at least 3 points.

Half time score Patriots lead by three. It could be tied if the Chargers had kicked the field goal instead of going for the goal line on 4 th down very early in the game.
