From a rest standpoint, the league could have given all three remaining NFC teams that played in the wild-card round seven days’ rest. The Rams and the Bears played on Saturday of this week. The union has the power to end this. It's not safe.

Games Monday, Thursday, Sunday. Games overseas. Players and owners battling over the big bucks. I agree it is not safe.

It was really aggravating. The Lions had to play on Christmas Day (and lost a heartbreaker on an iffy, okay, horrendous call) when they had played the late game the previous Sunday. We were also spectacularly banged up. I didn't really connect the dots on the injuries and the scheduling, which has been ridiculous, but now I will.

Figures they would give a break to Seattle.

Millionaires. Granted they can be hurt but they choose this life. Probably not fair, but these days, I can't get too concerned about the extremely wealthy.

I believe the chiefs had to play three games in a week and a half, and if I remember correctly they were not the only team that faced that. It’s ridiculous because it doesn’t give them to recover. Go 49’ers!
