The NFL and the National Anthem

In my area (metro Atlanta), the early games today were Pats/Texans on CBS and Bucs/Saints on Fox. I didn't check out the latter but in the former, CBS didn't show the National Anthem or report whether the players stood or kneeled. I prefer that the networks handle the Anthem issue that way. CBS' handling of the issue makes me wonder why NBC chose a different path, showing most if not all the players on both sides standing for the Anthem in last Thursday night's Eagles/Falcons game.
