RIP Bart Starr. I grew up watching him demolish better teams such as Y. A. Tittle’s NY Giants.

I thought Roger Staubach was better and more exciting a QB, but Starr was a better strategist. If he didn’t kill you with his play calling, you had to face Jimmy Taylor punching a hole in the middle, Paul Horning running wide, or worse, throwing an option pass. Packers were an awesome team!

No. 15! We lived in WI for a year when I was 12. If I'm correct, the Packers won the 1st 3 of 4 Super Bowls?

Can this be done without googling?

Then came what would be known as Super Bowl I followed by SB II.

Bart and Hank Aaron. Life was good in Wisconsin in the early and mid 60s.

Thank you Bart! They don't get any better.

I wish today's athletes would emulate you.

then, even though we lived in Florida where they were not televised as much at the time.
I remember having a lot of the old braves cards from the late 50's - early 60's. Warren Spahn was a favorite and of course "Hammerin Hank."
